New Website for Veritais

By SuperyachtDesign. Jan 12, 2010

Entertainment systems are considered to be an increasingly important part of a superyacht, which means that there is a need for designers, project managers and shipyards to pay extra attention to the interior design as well as the capabilities of the systems that they are specifying. Part of the Marine AV group, Veritais Ltd is a specialist in the design, supply and support of audio-visual systems for the marine industry.

Established in 2007 as a separate division to service and supply the increasing demand for fully integrated luxury entertainment, cabin control and surveillance systems in yachts over 23-metres, Veritais has carried out work on a number of yachts including the recent refit at Holland Jachtbouw of the 42-metre Life Saga.  The UK-based company has now launched a new website www.veritais.com  to showcase its skills and capabilities to a global audience.

Veritais offers a consultancy service to owners and yachting professionals through the entire process, from determining a yacht’s requirements to specifying the equipment that will meet these demands. If required, they can also design the installation to fit individual layouts, advise on lighting control, environmental control and surveillance products.

“We are expanding our links with yacht designers and yards as there are major benefits from incorporating the layout of an audio-visual system as early as possible in the development process”, commented managing director David Milner. “We have had discussions with a number of designers now, including Ken Freivokh, Roel Yacht Design and David Wright Design, and are working on projects with yards including Pendennis and ISA (International Shipyards Ancona). We aim to continue to expand the list during 2010.”

Veritais has recently provided advice and fulfilment services to yachts including the Palmer Johnson 41-metre Alfa Sea, 73-metre Rabdan (ex-Silver); the 104-metre Loaloat Al Behar (ex-Al Said); 55-meter gulit Zanzibar; Palmer Johnson 45.9-meter Four Jacks;. 42-metre Heesen Yachts  Life Saga.
