New Gallery opens in Chelsea Harbour Design Centre

Studio 266 is owned and operated by Aleks Marinkovic who has a vision to work collaboratively with interior designers both on and off the water. The recent opening, showing a number of works from British artist Jessica Zoob, had a real air of optimism.

Art can be so certain in its lines and form that trains of thought never leave the tracks. Jessica Zoob’s art is different, and comes as a breath of fresh air. Her work ranges from pieces that fit a windowsill to large works for walls. Painting with oil, creating a range of finishes, it is impressionist in style, peaceful and dreamy, inviting the viewer to think. Without clear form and with blends of colour the canvas is yours to interpret. Pondering Zoob’s art you cannot help but enjoy the calm that radiates from the use of white combined with shades of the ocean or landscape. With titles like Perfect Sea and Endless Love Zoob’s work emits a sense of hope and tranquility.
