P B Behage 33

By Angela Audretsch. Feb 03, 2012

Fresh from the drawing board of Dutch yacht designer P B Behage is this new 33.33-metre motoryacht concept. With her round bilge, flared bow section and transom stem, this is a yacht that is refreshingly practical, having been designed to comply with classification society rules.

“This is a yacht for those who enjoy life at sea, as well as the capacity to scout for anchorages,” says Piet Behage, the man behind the design. The hull is configured to be built in approved A grade ship steel, with the superstructure to be built in aluminium. Large double-glass windows will provide good insulation and offer excellent views and natural light.

There will be accommodation for 6 guests, with a full-beam owner’s suite on main deck and two full-beam guest cabins on the lower deck, all of equal size. Designed for worldwide exploration, the yacht is designed with heating systems for the winter, and air-conditioning systems for the summer period.

Behage has placed two custom aluminium 5.9-metre tenders on the main aft deck in order to keep the bridge deck aft open for sunbathing. A large hydraulic swimming platform will open aft to reveal a beach-club equipped with a spa and gym.

See Behage's new Celeste concept in SuperyachtDesign Q10, out at the end of February!
